About Mentoring
What is mentoring?
A mentor provides support to a student by supplying practical information, increasing a student’s knowledge of skills and by enhancing self-esteem through a supportive and attentive relationship. A mentor is a special friend to a young person sharing valuable experiences, modeling an understanding and caring way of dealing with others, and empowering the young person to be a secure, self-confident individual.
