Mark your calendar for the 8^th Annual First Day Festival Sunday, August 15, 2010.  Volunteers are needed to assist with kids’ games, exhibitors, boat rides, and much more! It’s tons of fun! You can sign up for the first or second shift, or both. If you are not available on Sunday, you can sign up for pre-festival volunteer opportunities.

It’s easy and simple to get involved. Fill out the volunteer registration form, which is posted on the city’s website, www.charlestoncity.info/mocyf, and return it via e-mail or fax. Registration forms are due Friday August 6^th, 2010. Once you register, please check the city’s website for volunteer information and updates.
